Justin Steinberg

Co-Founder, Finance Lead

Justin has over 13 years of investment experience at Steinberg Asset Management (SAM). In 2011, he launched Steinberg India Emerging Opportunities, a small and mid-cap Indian public equity strategy. He also sits on the board of Samara Capital, a leading boutique private equity firm based in Mumbai. Prior to SAM Justin worked in the Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to his work in the private sector Justin served as a senior policy advisor for economic development in the Bloomberg administration and as a fourth-grade teacher through Teach for America. He is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School.

Ana Maria Martinez Duque

Sr Analyst, Environment

Ana brings 20 years of experience in project management, social entrepreneurship, startup scaling, and ESG Analysis. Prior to joining Sargasso, she was the Mexico Country Manager for Acsendo, an HRTech startup. Before that, she was Sales and Business Development Director for Iluméxico, a Mexican renewable energy social enterprise. She started her career at Organizacion Corona, one of Colombia’s oldest and most respected multinationals. Ana is a graduate of Universidad Externado, Universidad La Sabana and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.

Louise de La Houssaye

Analyst, Environment

As a Senior Environmental Analyst at Sargasso, Louise brings 5 years of experience in Corporate and Consulting. Prior to joining Sargasso, she served as a Junior Consultant in Deloitte’s finance transformation consulting team. Before her tenure at Deloitte, Louise immersed herself in the transportation industry, shaping strategic endeavors at Michelin and fostering business growth at RATP. Louise is a graduate of La Sorbonne University and IE Business School.

Lionel Bony

Co-Founder, Environmental Lead

Prior to his work with Sargasso, Lionel launched and led Latin American operations for Neoen, a leading solar, wind and storage IPP, helping to secure over a gigawatt of projects in the region, including the largest battery in Central America and one of the world’s most competitive solar PPAs in Mexico. Lionel also held senior positions at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) where he was a co-author of Amory Lovins’ landmark book, “Reinventing Fire,” and worked for Conservation International in Bolivia. He is a graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and Harvard Business School.
